Man charged after £5k cash reported stolen

A man has been charged in connection with a burglary of a Hull City Centre supermarket overnight between Tuesday 3 November and Wednesday 4 November, where £5000 cash was reported stolen from the shop and damage caused to a window.

Jack Briggs (19) of Holtby Gardens, Cottingham was arrested yesterday (Tuesday 1 December) and subsequently charged with burglary.

He has been released on bail to appear before Hull Magistrates Court on Friday 22 January 2021.
