Man charged with assault of woman

A man was arrested following an alleged assault of a woman on Wednesday 15 December at a house on Hessle Road in Hull.

He was questioned in relation to the assault and has now been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.

Mahmat Ekallan (28) of Hessle Road, Hull has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Hull Magistrates Court today (Thursday 16 December).
