Following his arrest earlier this week, Jamie Herring, 32, of Marlowe Street, Hull has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession of class C drugs and acquiring criminal property.
On Wednesday 2 September a vehicle was involved in a failure to stop in Hull which is reported to have subsequently rammed into one of our police vehicles. Following a short pursuit, a man was detained nearby. A large bag containing cocaine and cash was also discovered.
Herring has been remanded into custody following an appearance at Hull Magistrates Court.
Another man was arrested in connection with this incident on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug. He has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
