Misconduct hearing concludes

Detective Constable Julian McGill has been found guilty of gross misconduct and received a final written warning in a public hearing yesterday.

The hearing, overseen by an independent Chair was held at Beverley Police Station.

Chief Superintendent Judi Heaton, Head of Professional Standards Branch, said:

“It is important that the public can be sure that Humberside Police Officers are held to very high standards of honesty and integrity at all times. The behaviour of the officer in this case fell below the standard therefore it was right that his actions were examined at a misconduct hearing.”
