15th July 2020National Lottery Awards

Annual awards scheme celebrating the UK’s favourite Lottery-funded projects and the difference they have made to people’s lives. The awards recognise the dedication and commitment of people across the UK who use Lottery funding to improve the environment around them.
The National Lottery Awards were launched in 2004 and are funded by the National Lottery. Over 535,000 National Lottery grants have been awarded since 1994, helping to strengthen communities, power sports teams, protect the environment, unleash local creative talent and look after the elderly and those at risk across the UK.
The Awards recognise the difference that Lottery-funded projects have made to people, places and communities all across the UK. They also celebrate the talent, hard work and dedication of the people involved in running them.
In 2020 the Awards will honour individuals and/or small groups of people who have made an extraordinary impact in their community, especially those who have adapted during the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.
There will be no public vote during the 2020 application round, but the nominations will be put before a judging panel made up of members of The National Lottery family and partners, who will decide on the winners.
