National Lottery Grants for Heritage

The National Lottery Grant for Heritage is an open programme for all types of heritage projects in the UK, including local, regional and national heritage.

Heritage can mean different things to different people. It can be anything from the past that is valued with the wish to pass it on to future generations.

Eligiblity:
Applications will be considered from Non-profits and partnerships led by non-profit organisations for grants of £3,000 to £5 million.

The following are not eligible for funding:

• Existing staff posts or organisational costs (unless calculated through Full Cost Recovery).
• Statutory and/or legal responsibilities.
• Promoting the cause or beliefs of political or faith organisations.
• Recoverable VAT.
• Costs for any activity that has taken place before a grant is awarded.
