Grants to build energy resilience, covering emergency preparedness, support for vulnerable people, tackling fuel poverty, rural resilience and innovation.
Deadline: 13th October
Northern Powergrid funds projects that build community energy resilience for people most affected by changes in the energy landscape across North East England, Yorkshire, and north Lincolnshire; it typically makes one-off grants of £1,000–£20,000 (larger awards in exceptional cases), usually via two rounds per year.
It funds organisations (eg, parish councils, community hubs/centres, community associations/trusts/partnerships, not-for-profits and social enterprises) and does not fund individuals.
Priority areas are Energy resilience during emergency events, Vulnerability, Fuel poverty, Levelling the rural divide, Innovation, Collaboration, and support for Charities whose remit enhances energy resilience.
Projects must directly benefit communities within Northern Powergrid’s area and align with these priorities. For more information – Our Grants | Northern Powergrid Foundation
