14th November 2024Open Doors Christmas Appeal 2024
They believe everyone should experience a sense of belonging at Christmas, and would be grateful for your help in spreading festive joy within their community. They are aiming to provide gifts for 100 children, women and men who are seeking asylum and refuge. All are part of the Open Doors Project family. If you want to help them, they suggest you choose between two options:
(1) You may choose to contribute to their Christmas appeal by donating money, so that your funds can have a significant impact. The following list gives you an idea of the most desirable gifts they could buy with a suggested donation from you:
- Winter socks, gloves or a scarf (Donate £ 5)
- Child’s colouring book and crayons (Donate £ 5)
- Strong umbrella (Donate £ 10)
- Toiletry gift set (Donate £ 10)
- ASDA voucher (Donate £ 15)
- Medium sized backpack (Donate £ 15)
If you choose this option, and would like them to buy and wrap a present on your behalf, please donate directly into their bank account, with the word ‘Christmas’ as ‘Reference’:
