Over 700 Hull school children took part in The Daily Mile ‘GO Run For Fun’

On Friday 6th October 2023, over 700 school children from the Hull and East Riding area took part in GO Run for Fun, an event by The Daily Mile, supported by INEOS.

The event was held at East Park in Hull and the school children, who came from several local schools including Gillshill Primary School, Cavendish Primary School, and Ings Primary School, were joined by players from Hull Kingston Rovers and their mascot, Rufus the Robin. 

GO Run For Fun is a worldwide campaign, set up to inspire children to be more active through fun short distance running events. It has been a phenomenal success so far with over 340,000 children having taken part since 2013. Events now take place across the world, including in Belgium, France, Germany, India, UK, and USA.
