25th August 2022Police warning and appeal as man indecently exposed himself in Oak Road Playing Field

Humberside Police are asking for people to be aware and are appealing for information after a man reportedly indecently exposed himself to women in Oak Road Playing Field, off Beverley Road in Hull.
Detective Inspector Andrew Crawforth is investigating these reports and said, “I don’t want to alarm people, but I do want people to be aware of three recent reports of a man indecently exposing himself to women in Oak Road Playing Fields.
“On Tuesday 24 August a woman reported an incident to the park ranger, but police are seeking out this lady as they need more details.
“This comes after two previous reports of a man, described by the victims as around 5ft 9ins tall, with dark skin and of slim build approached them and exposed himself to them.
“Although the man has not harmed any of the women we are treating this as a priority and have increased patrols in the area.
“You can help us too, if you know who this man is or see anyone acting suspiciously in the area to call us immediately so that we can apprehend him and question him in relation to these incidents.”
If you were the woman who was approached on Tuesday 24th in the park and reported your experience to the park ranger or if you have any information that could assist with our enquiries please call Humberside Police on 101 quoting log 420 of 23 August 2022 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
