Small grants are available for UK registered non-profit organisations supporting grassroots projects in diverse and deprived communities in the United Kingdom.

Objectives of Fund
The scheme provides small grants to support independent UK registered non-for-profit organisations for grassroots, community-based projects that fall within its core funding themes:
- Heritage and conservation.
- Education.
- Health and wellbeing.
- Social inclusion.
- Environment.
- Countryside.
Value Notes
On average, 150 charities a year share in approximately £5 million worth of grants.
Single-year grants of up to £5,000 and multi-year grants of up to £15,000 are available. The average single award is £2,000.
Who Can Apply
Applications are accepted from UK registered not-for-profit organisations with an income of up to £1 million.
Organisations should have completed at least two years of activity and be able to submit accounts or income and expenditure statements.
The funder is keen to support projects/activities and organisations that are committed to embedding equality, diversity and inclusion principles or aim to support diverse communities.
Priority will be given to non-profit organisations of which King Charles III is Patron.
cross all of these funding themes, there is particular interest in projects in deprived communities across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
In addition, PWCF is keen to support organisations that are able to demonstrate that the project/activity would support a diverse community or group of beneficiaries.
How To Apply
Applications are now open with a deadline of 25 August 2023.

The first step in the application process is to submit the online pre-screening questionnaire which can be found on the PWCF website.
Applicants will then receive a confirmation email acknowledging the application.
Successful applicants will be contacted one month after the relevant Small Grant Committee meeting.
