Road traffic collision Hull: Two men seriously injured following collision on Perth Street West

We were called at 9.50pm on Sunday 10 September reporting a serious road traffic collision on Perth Street West in Hull.

A blue Citroen Xsara collided with roadside fencing and the overhead railway bridge and came to a stop on its roof.

Two men fled the scene of the crash leaving one man trapped in the car.  A 25 year-old Hull man was freed from the vehicle and taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

One of the two men who left the scene of the collision was later located and was also taken to HRI for treatment to serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.

The third man in the car has yet to be located and may himself have sustained injuries.  We would appeal for this man to make himself known to us so that we can speak to him about the incident.

The road was closed for a period of time to allow for accident investigations.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle driving the in area before the collision is asked to call us on the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 627 10/09/17.
