Title:  Safeguarding Co-ordinator
Salary:  £30,983 (£25121 actual for 30 hours)
Hours:  Part time, 30 hours per week
Holidays:  28 days per year plus statutory holidays (pro-rata for part-time posts)
Tenure:  Permanent
Location:  Office base in Hull City Centre, with occasional travel to our Grimsby office (expenses covered)
Responsible to:  Deputy Chief Officer

Forum is charity that offers support, advice and guidance to people who run community groups, charities and social businesses. A vacancy has arisen for a 30-hour a week Safeguarding Support 
Co-ordinator to work as part of a wider support team for the voluntary and community sector in Hull, delivered in partnership with Hull CVS. The post-holder will provide specialist safeguarding support and 
training to the voluntary sector in Hull, including grassroots groups, faith groups, those working with children, families and older people, and disabilities and equalities organisations. They will also represent 
the VCSE sector on safeguarding boards and forums.

One day a week of the post will involve providing similar support in North East Lincolnshire as part of Forum’s Sector Support North East Lincolnshire service. Some remote working will be possible and 
travel to the Grimsby office will be paid.
