Lifeline Scam

Hull City Council have been made aware of some scam calls to lifeline clients. The callers claim to work for the council, and request money in return for a new piece of equipment to make sure that the lifeline continues to work. This is a scam, please do not give anyone claiming to be from the council lifeline service any personal details.

If you or someone you know receives one of these calls, please ignore it and report the call to Trading Standards. Don’t forget you can also press your pendant or lifeline button if you need to speak to a member of the Kingston Care team.

If you ever suspect you are being contacted by a scam caller, you should end the call immediately.
