Humberside Police have just launched a new campaign called Share the Road. The campaign is asking all road users to think about their attitudes on the road. If we were all a bit more considerate, rather than competing and losing our temper, then we’d all have better, safer and less stressful journeys.
All road users – motorists, cyclists, pedestrians, motorcyclists and farmers – are affected by the issues we face today: the pace of traffic and the pace of life.
What they are asking is for everyone to be more considerate and SHARE THE ROAD.
Over the summer Humberside Polices Wildlife and Rural Crime team and Safer Roads Humber will be holding Share the Road events. The first of which is this Saturday 10 June (10-4) at Mr Moos, Skipsea. They will also be at the East Coast Classic Car Run on Sewerby Fields, Bridlington on Sunday 11 June (10-4).
They welcome people to come over and have a chat with their officers about how we can all Share the Road and get to where we are going safely.
