Surviving Winter Campaign Funding

Two Ridings Community Foundation work with a range of delivery partners who all work locally in their communities to support the elderly and vulnerable during the winter months.

They provide frontline partners with funds that they can use for emergency payments to provide immediate relief for people in crisis whilst they work on longer term solutions. ​

The money should be used to alleviate the suffering and hardship experienced by vulnerable people during the coldest months and may be used for a variety of needs as identified by your staff/volunteers. This may include:-

• Snuggle blankets
• Hats and gloves
• Hot water bottles
• Thermos for hot drinks
• Help with payment of winter fuel bill
• Transport costs
