29th October 2025Talk Money Week 2025 is coming up from the 3rd to 7th November

Whether your supporting residents in a professional role or looking for advice yourself, there are a range of ways to get involved. Many people are struggling with the rising cost of living and if you’re a frontline professional, you may find yourself as the first point of contact.
Throughout the week, a series of free, expert led webinars will be available for all. Attending the webinars may help you feel more confident in answering difficult questions and guiding people to the help they need.

These short, practical sessions will cover topics like debt, budgeting, cost of living support and much more. They are designed to help & support local businesses, partner organisations and council employees feel more confident signposting support to the people they work with every day.
Each session will feature a local expert sharing practical advice on topics such as –
- Debt and budgeting
- Keeping warm and grants available
- Landlord issues and homelessness
- Scam awareness
- The NHS Healthy Start Scheme
- Spending to investing
- Pensions
- Welfare rights
- Money and mental health
The week culminates with Talk Money Week – Ask The Experts on Saturday 8th November taking place in Princes Quay on floor 3, 11am – 3pm. This is a free drop in event open to the public. Residents can chat face-to-face with over 30 trusted local services and get help with everything from managing bills and debt, to accessing support with benefits and mental health.
It’s a great place to get help and advice for yourself, your colleagues, or your customers. Signpost them to the event if they need support.
