Teen charged with criminal damage

A teenage boy has been charged after a police car was damaged in Beverley earlier this week.

The car windscreen was damaged shortly after 6pm on Sunday 13 March whilst officers were attending another incident.  

A 17-year-old boy (who cannot be named for legal reasons) has been charged with criminal damage. He has been bailed with conditions not to go to Beverley and to be at his home address by a certain time each evening.
