25th November 2019Teenagers and men face 27 charges for burglary related offences

Detectives investigating reports of a number of burglaries across the force area have arrested five people over the weekend in connection with a number of different offences.
They include three teenagers and two men. All of them have been charged and are due to appear in court.
A 17-year-old youth from Hull has been charged with thirteen seperate offences. The teenager who can’t be named for legal reasons has been charged with the following:
- Burglary on Oakwood Close, Anlaby Common on 13 October. A vase, wind chime and fairy lights were stolen.
- Burglary on Davile Close, Hull on 24 October. Car keys were taken.
- Burglary on Wold Road, Hull on 30 October. A wallet and bank cards were taken.
- Burglary at Stable Walk, Hull on 2 November. Cars keys, jackets, and bank cards were stolen.
- Burglary on Woodlands Road, Hull on 9 November. A wallet, bank card and mobile phone were taken.
- Two counts of car theft in Hull. They were on 24 October on Davile Close and 2 November on Stable Walk in Hull.
- Theft of a passport on 22 August from Hull.
- Two counts of driving without the correct licence on 25 October and 3 November, and two counts of driving without insurance on 25 October and 3 November. All four offences were in Hull.
- One count of using a stolen bank in Hull on 2 November.
He’s been bailed with conditions to appear at Hull Youth Court in December.
Two 15-year-old boys from Hull who also cannot be named because of their age, were charged on 22 November with nine separate offences between them.
They have both been charged with a burglary at Dayton Road in Hull on 21 November during which an amount of computer and hairdressing equipment was taken, and an address on Priory Road on 22 November where house and car keys were stolen. They have also both been charged with theft of a car.
One of the boys faces three more charges. Those are two counts of using a stolen bank card at two McDonalds restaurants in Hull on 2 November and handling stolen goods, namely a Stone Island jacket, in connection with a burglary at Stable Walk, Hull on 2 November.
They are due to appear before Hull Youth Court next month.
Jake Davison, 27, of Warley Road, Scunthorpe was charged with handling stolen goods after he was seen driving a stolen Mercedes car in Keadby on 22 November. The car was believed to have been stolen during a burglary in Anlaby on 12 November.
He was also charged with driving while disqualified, with no insurance, and failing to stop when required to do so by a police officer.
Oliver Hargreaves, 30, from Valway in Hook was charged on 23 November in connection with a burglary in New Waltham earlier this month. Watches and jewellery estimated to be worth around £10,000 were taken.
