Humberside police are looking for a Head of Legal Services to steer Humberside & South Yorkshire’s legal department.

As the joint Head of Legal Services, you will take a lead role in advising the Chief Constables and wider chief officer group of both forces on legal matters that impact on Humberside and South Yorkshire police. You will be a key member of the senior leadership team across both forces and will be responsible for providing legal representation to the chief officer group from both forces in legal proceedings.

The successful candidate must have up to date knowledge of legislation, particular around the area of policing and have the confidence and capability to recommend appropriate courses of action and maintain all aspects of care around each case.
