Update on Joanne Hemingway murder investigation

Detectives have charged a woman in connection with an ongoing murder investigation following the death of Joanne Hemingway in Beverley Road, Hull on 29 June 2017.

Angela Burkitt (53) of Beverley Road, Hull will appear at Hull Magistrates Court today charged with murder.

As part of the wider investigation into the death of Joanne Hemingway , Glenn Foster (42) of Beverley Road, Hull appeared at Hull Crown Court on Monday and pleaded guilty to affray, being in possession of an offensive weapon, and having an article with a blade or point in Beverley Road on 29 June 2017.

He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at a future date.
