12th March 2021Update: second man charged following series of Bransholme robberies
Following two robberies and an attempted robbery at shops in North Point Shopping Centre and on Cheltenham Avenue in Bransholme on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 February, two men have been charged.
A 30-year-old man was charged with two counts of robbery and one count of attempted robbery. Following his appearance at Hull Magistrates Court on Monday 22 February, he has been remanded into custody to appear in Hull Crown Court on Tuesday 23 March.
A 33-year-old-man has now been charged with two counts of robbery and one count of attempted robbery. Following his appearance at Hull Magistrates Court yesterday (Tuesday 9 March), he was remanded to appear at Hull Crown Court on Wednesday 7 April.
A man was reported to have demanded cash from staff members whilst brandishing a weapon.
Staff who reported being threatened were thankfully unharmed, but left shaken by the incident
