The Enviro-hub is designed to be a centre of excellence for recycling, training and social enterprise. It is the operations hub for all project activities.
VACANCY 1 – JOB CLUB MENTOR
Responsible for developing an online training facility and working with people from disadvantaged groups, you will become part of the ‘Community Champions’ Team. You will champion social inclusion and ensure jobs within the renewable supply chain are accessible and within reach.
Main tasks and activities
- Implementation & delivery of online training courses to volunteers
- Provide IT support for volunteers accessing the online training centre
- Support volunteers with writing and updating CV’s
- Assist volunteers with benefits calculations.
- Provide ‘into work’ support
- Monitor Volunteer progress, update systems and provide scheduled reports to the directors
- Contribute to exceeding project targets and deadlines
- Meet with employers attending the site and promote the disability confident employment scheme
- Work with third sector and public sector partners to improve outcomes for those most in need
- Promote Green Port Hull and assist in making jobs within the Renewable Sector accessible to all.
- Champion Enviromail and its projects
Salary: £8.25 Per Hour
Hours: 16 Hours per week (Wed / Thur) – May be required to work alternative / additional hours to meet the needs of the project.
Holidays: 28 Days Per Annum – (Including Bank Holidays) – Pro Rata for PT
VACANCY 2 – RECEPTIONIST & ADMIN SUPPORT
As a receptionist you will be the first point of contact for the company, managing site visitors and telephone enquiries.
You will be part of the team that develops our new CRM system and you will be responsible for contacting customers and updating systems and ensuring records are up to date and accurate. You will liaise with suppliers, customers and public sector bodies to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Main tasks and activities
- Telephone Handling Experience
- CRM Project – as the company evolves they are moving their customer base onto a new CRM platform.
- General Administration Skills
- You are experienced and competent with IT and using a PC.
- You would enjoy and feel confident using bespoke software packages and help us develop our CRM package
- You are competent with Microsoft Office and can select the correct application for documents, databases and templates).
Salary: £8.25 Per Hour
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week (Will consider job share) – May be required to work alternative / additional hours to meet the needs of the project.
Holidays: 28 Days Per Annum – (Including Bank Holidays) – Pro Rata for PT

Standard operating hours at the Enviro-Hub are 8.30 – 4.30 (Mon – Fri)
