Healthwatch Kingston upon Hull – Project Officer, Salary: £24,000, Hours: 35 Hours, Closing Date: 15/09/2024
Summary: As a Healthwatch Project Officer you will be responsible for finding ways to engage with a diverse range of individuals and groups from within the local community and use your range of interpersonal skills to discover their feedback and experiences of health and social care interactions.
You will need to be able to converse with a wide range of stakeholders and have the ability to present projects, feedback and recommendations at a variety of meetings.
This role will also include recruiting and managing volunteers, providing information and signposting, producing periodic reports and leading on initiatives that actively help patient experiences drive positive change.
Healthwatch Kingston upon Hull – Volunteering Project Officer, Salary: £24,000 (Pro Rata), Hours: 28 Hours, Closing Date: 15/09/2024
Summary: Healthwatch has a wide remit and has a number of legal powers to help ensure that patient and public voice is at the heart of how health and care services are designed and delivered.
The role will involve recruiting and training young people as community connectors to enable them to listen to the experiences of their peers and use this to drive change.
The role will also support the wider development of volunteering within their teams.
Citizens Advice Bureau Hull and East Riding – Energy Adviser, Salary: £29,560 Pro Rata, Hours: 18.5 Hours, Closing Date: 02/09/2024
Summary: In this role you will be responsible for providing general advice to clients on all matters, with particular emphasis relating to income maximisation, energy efficiencies, switching suppliers, resolving energy related issues, energy debt and low carbon technologies.
Citizens Advice Bureau Hull and East Riding – Community Trainer – Health Inequalities, Salary: £29,560 Pro Rata, Hours: 18.5 Hours, Closing Date: 06/09/2024
Summary: This is an exciting new project, funded by the ICB for an initial period of 2 years, with the possibility of extension.
They are looking for an enthusiastic community trainer, to identify and deliver community-based awareness training and support to a broad range of voluntary and community sector groups and organisations. Providing advice ‘first aid’ training and develop confidence, skills, experience, and knowledge in talking to the people about financial issues.
