Hull: Helicopter lifts woman to safety as high-tide approached
At 7.50am on Friday 27th we were called about the concern for the safety of a woman in her 20’s. Emergency services conducted searches and located her on the banks of the River Humber at 10.30am.
A Search and Rescue helicopter (SAR) lifted the woman to safety and she was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary. She was cold but otherwise unhurt.
Humberside Police would like to thank all those involved in the search and especially for that of the Search and Rescue teams who brought the search to a safe and successful conclusion.
