Would you be willing to pay more for your fire and rescue service?

There’s still time to give your views on the proposed increase in our council tax precept for 2023-24, this is the portion of your council tax that goes towards funding your Fire and Rescue Service. The majority of homes in the Humber area are below a B and D, so for many the increase would be less than 42p per month. This increase will help Hull Fire Service & Rescue maintain the services that they currently provide and will deliver investment in resources that help our firefighters respond to incidents.

Please note that this consultation has no bearing on the Local Authority rate or for any other services and closes at 5pm on Friday 27 January 2023.
