Yorkshire blue light partners launch #WaterSafe campaign

Humberside Police are pleased to be working in partnership with other Yorkshire blue light partners to highlight the importance of being #WaterSafe.

Chief Inspector James Glansfield said: “Multiple organisations across Yorkshire have joined forces to encourage people across the entire region to learn about the dangers of open water swimming.

“Within our force area we have some fantastic rivers, lakes and beaches which many families with children and young people will be visiting throughout the summer, however we are urging them to be aware of the dangers open waters can pose. Open waters hide many hazards including strong currents and depths that are difficult to judge.
