1st December 2020Warning to Royal Mail customers over new e-mail scam
Royal Mail customers are being warned about a new convincing scam email that has been circulated. The email claims the Royal Mail had tried to deliver a letter to the resident unsuccessfully.
It is asking people to pay just a £1.99 fee for an undelivered item of mail – but while this amount may seem small, what the fraudsters really want are your bank account details.
Please don’t click on any of the links in these emails and be vigilant if you receive a communication which you aren’t sure about.
