Domestic Abuse – You Are Not Alone!
29th August 2025A bird’s-eye view of Hull’s Songbird Survival garden transformation!

default
Take a look at this incredible time-lapse video of the Neighbourhood Networks’ community garden development, along with before and after drone footage beautifully captured by the talented team at Octovision Media!
In just a few short months, the community centre garden has been completely transformed — from a grey, unused “concrete jungle” into a vibrant, welcoming wildlife haven.

This transformation was made possible thanks to the stunning Songbird Survival Garden, freshly relocated from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025 and designed by Nicola Oakey. Now the garden is literally buzzing with wildlife and being enjoyed daily by the local community.
It’s a brilliant example of what partnership working can achieve and how even a small green space can make a big difference to a local community.
The garden is open daily when the Neighbourhood Network team is on site – so come along and take a look for yourselves.
We’re also on the lookout for local volunteers to help maintain the space. If you’re interested in getting involved, you can register here: Volunteer Opportunities | Neighbourhood Network Hull
