Our friends over at NHS Hull CCG are offering a FREE Scam Awareness Training course.
This is being held at the CCG Boardroom (Wilberforce Court, Alfred Gelder Street) on Thursday 5th September 1.30 – 3pm.

Friends Against Scams is a National Trading Standards Scams Team Initiative, which aims to protect and prevent people from becoming victims of scams by empowering people to take a stand against scams.

- 53% of people over 65 have been targeted by scams
- Only 5% of scams are reported
- Our statistics indicate that the average scam victim has lost over £3000
Amanda from NatWest will deliver a 45 minute presentation with the opportunity ask questions afterwards. Topics covered will include types and examples of scams, how to sport a victim and look after your friends and family, how young people are targeted, what you can do to protect yourself and others.
