Hull: Understanding Dementia for carers event

Butterflies Memory Loss Support Group is holding a  number of support forums aimed at helping you understand and cope with the changes you are facing when caring for a loved one with dementia.

This will consist of 4 sessions over a period of 6 weeks looking at:

• Communication
• unusual behaviour
• support networks
• what is dementia?
• making your home dementia friendly
• how past experience can cause a problem today
• and any burning issues.

You can bring along your loved one, who will be invited to take part in the activity workshop.

The course will be held at Butterflies headquarters: 2nd Floor 94 Alfred Gelder Street, HU1 2AN
