KCOM volunteers help spruce up the AMCC Garden!

What a difference KCOM volunteers made in 2 days !!

Special thanks to the KCOM volunteers who helped spruce up the Alf Marshall Community Centre garden area, along with MKM Building Supplies who donated vanish, North Point Shopping Centre who loaned us their Jet Washer, Living With Water for the donation of 2 water butts and our fantastic resident volunteer Terry for keeping everyone in check, including us!!!

The volunteers helped to pull up old barriers and tree stumps, dismantled a rotting planter, jet washed the paved area, varnished benches and tables, installed two water butts, along with cleaning windows and generally cleaning up the outdoor space. Thank you for all of the hard work, which has encouraged more local residents to get involved!
