21st March 2025Peer Mentoring- In Partnership with the DWP

Are you or someone you know struggling to find employment due to substance use challenges? CGL’s Peer Mentoring service offers personalised support to help you overcome these barriers. Connect with a mentor who has faced similar challenges and can provide guidance on goal setting, navigating job centres, and engaging with drug and alcohol services. With 8-10 mentoring sessions available, they meet you where you’re comfortable, whether at a community service or job centre.
Their mentors assist with a wide range of support areas, including debt management, building confidence, employment preparation, and mental health support. By reflecting on your goals before the first appointment, you can maximise the benefits of the programme. Refer someone today and make a positive impact in your community.
Contact them at DWPMentoringHull@cgl.org.uk or 01482 620 013. Learn more at their website.
Together, they can make a difference.
