Sector Development Officer – Volunteering Vacancy

Hull CVS have two exciting opportunities to join their team of specialist advisors to the charitable and voluntary sector in Hull.

Hull CVS, both individually and in partnership with other organisations, delivers a package of services to local voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector organisations, to aid their start up, effectiveness and longer-term sustainability.

The two posts will join a team of specialist advisors to the VCSE sector, who each has a broad knowledge of the support needs of the sector, but also lead on their own specialist area, which include organisation development/governance, funding, training, volunteering, and communications.

We are currently looking for two individuals to join us in the following specialist areas:

• Organisational Development
• Volunteering

Having a background in the charity/VCSE sector is helpful but not essential, as you will be provided with training and learning to develop both your specialist and general VCSE knowledge. The postholders will be altruistic by nature; have excellent communication and partnership development skills; and will be able to be responsive and flexible to the needs of different organisations and individuals.
