Eight arrested & drugs & cash seized following warrants in Hull

Eight people have been arrested after officers executed intelligence led warrants at addresses in Hull yesterday morning, Thursday 4 July.

In a bid to tackle organised crime and as part of a pre-planned operation, officers from Operation Shield, Proactive and Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Team carried out five simultaneous search warrants in the Hull area.
With assistance from the Dogs Section, officers attended addresses on Wexford Avenue, Waudby Way, Clairbrook Close, Brentford Drive and Colman Crescent.

After searching all five properties, alongside those arrested, officers recovered an amount of suspected class. A drugs, large quantities of cash, assets with an estimated value of £100,000 and two suspected firearms.
