Grab a sandwich and join Time Bank Hull & East Riding for an awareness raising session at lunchtime with Sally Welch from the Stroke Association in Hull. She will cover:
• What is a stroke?
• Recognising the signs of a stroke
• Common risk factors for stroke
• Lifestyle changes that may help reduce our risk of stroke
This will be an interactive discussion with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Strokes affect people of all ages, so anyone 18+ is welcome to attend, including stroke survivors. Feel free to invite friends, family members and colleagues – this information could save a life.
