9th August 2024Investment Fraud – Spot the signs
9th August 2024What is StreetSafe?
As part of the government’s agenda to tackle violence against women and girls, the Humberside Police are using an online tool called StreetSafe.
StreetSafe enables people to report locations where they feel or have felt unsafe and to identify the features on why that location made them feel unsafe. Examples of this could be a lack of streetlights on the street or in a specific area of it.
StreetSafe is anonymous and you won’t be asked for your name, date of birth or any contact details.
Information obtained via StreetSafe is being used by the Police and can be passed to the Local Authority for their information and action.
If you would like to report any concerns via StreetSafe, the link can be found here.
If you require crime prevention advice, this can be found on the Secured by Design website here.
