26th September 2025Cyber Switch Up Is Back!

Cyber Switch Up is back and students across the region are invited to take part in this exciting digital skills challenge.
Aimed at young people between the ages of 11 and 18, the competition is designed by cyber policing experts to inspire interest in cyber security and digital careers. It’s part of a national initiative to help students develop key skills while promoting safe and lawful online behaviour.
Participants will have the chance to:
Test their problem-solving and technical abilities
Learn about real-world cyber threats and how to tackle them
Explore career pathways in cyber security, coding, and digital forensics
Engage with professionals working in cyber crime and policing
What is Cyber Switch Up?
- Cyber Switch Up is a digital & cyber skills competition aimed at students aged 11-18 years in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
- Open to students in all secondary schools and colleges across the Yorkshire & the Humber region.
- Free to participate Online qualifier, which can be completed in school or at home.
- Chance to compete in at the in-person finals event on the 25th November 2025 at The University of Hull.
- Chance of winning merch, trophies and other cool tech prizes for participants and their respective school or college.
