Following the Census of 2021 it has been reported in the local area that there is now a bogus scam text being issued to certain individuals.
The malicious text reads along the lines of ”Incorrect or missing details have been reported from your Census and you could be fined up to £1,000”. It then asks you to click on the link in the text message that is designed to take your sensitive and private details from you, and possibly your money. Please do not click on the link.
