Age UK Hull & East Yorkshire see a Social Group Volunteer (Hull City Centre)

Age UK Hull & East Yorkshire are in need of a Social group volunteer for their sessions that take place in the Streetlife Museum, Wilberforce Learning Centre, Hull City Centre

Volunteers will be required to be available every Tuesday at 11am-1pm

The aim of these groups is to provide regular social inclusion to groups of people aged 50 years and over. The groups promote participation, reduce loneliness, encourage conversation and having fun!

These groups are user-led, meaning that the participants help make the decisions for what happens within their group. Each group holds different activities within it such as bingo, raffles, quizzes or exercises.   

Tasks and responsibilities

• Supervising group
• Supporting games and bingo
• Chatting with clients
