24th October 2019Dove House Hospice NEW Community Support Volunteer Group Scheme

Are you part of a group or wanting to do something special with your friends, then why don’t you become part of a Community Support Volunteer Group for Dove House Hospice?
Many people in the community are already fundraising for the hospice, but don’t get any real recognition for doing so, but we now they want to make your efforts more official by setting you up as a Community Support Volunteer group.
If you are already a supporter you won’t have to give any more commitment (unless of course you want to) just carry on with your fundraising and raising awareness of the fantastic support that the hospice gives to its patients and their families. If you are thinking of, or already putting your spare time into something worthwhile then we want to hear from you. A group can be as little as 2 / 3 people or as large as you would like it to be.. Our fundraisers can give you examples of the things people can do to raise money and support you through the journey to make it an enjoyable experience.
As a community support group you will be invited to our sponsored annual volunteer awards which will give us a chance to say a huge thank you for your efforts over the year. As the network of groups grow we can even set up a Facebook account, so you can share ideas and become a real community of fundraisers.
