Help out & get involved with the Hull 10K!

The Hull 10K team are looking into ways to create an absolutely electric atmosphere out on course to support the participants at event stage of their race through entertainment, cheer stations, support from spectators and their fantastic volunteers! It’s true when they say that volunteers are the backbone of their events and they wouldn’t be able to deliver these events without you. 

So if you’re looking for something to do on Sunday 8^th June why not come join them for a few hours, support the local community and cheer on the hundreds of participants that are taking part to challenge themselves, try something new (New Years Resolution?) or even fundraising for one of the many local and national charities that these events support.

Take a look at the roles below and let me know if you have any questions or need some more information before becoming a part of this special day!

They have lots of roles available, including:

• Route Marshals – this is where participants are definitely after an extra push of support from you! Be as loud as you can to get them to that finish line! 

• Drink Station Marshals – help runners stay hydrated out on route and give them plenty of encouragement to provide them with that extra boost!

• Baggage Marshals – interact with runners before and after the race and help with the bag drop-offs/collections.

• Race Office Marshals – help pre-race, welcoming runners and distributing race numbers whilst wishing participants good luck for the race.

In return for your support, they can offer volunteers:

• A free entry into any Run For All event (excluding marathons)
• A goody bag for every volunteer including a drink and snacks
• Automatic entry into their end of year volunteer raffle with a chance to win some amazing prizes
