Hull: Update on Friends of Thinkers Corner.

Some of you may remember we wrote a piece about one of our wonderful new groups ‘Friends of Thinkers Corner’ a few weeks ago. Well the Neighbourhood Network team have now been to visit the site and are amazed at the work that has been undertaken and achieved in such a short space of time.

Thinkers’ Corner is situated between Great Union Street and Citadel Way and is a green space on the outskirts of the town centre. Friends of Thinkers Corner are working hard to turn this interesting site into a welcoming haven for local residents and visitors to the area.

The team have already cleared shrubbery, conducted many litter picks and cleaned up the resident statue ‘Peter’. They still have amazing plans for the corner and would be really pleased if there is anyone who may be interested in joining them in making this space a useable and friendly community area.
