28th March 2019Hull: Volunteers needed for Hull Ethnic Minorities Community Centre
Could you spare a few hours a week? Do you need your PGCE placement? The Hull Ethnic Minorities Community Centre are currently looking for the following volunteers
Administrator
Hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays 9am – 12pm
HEMCC are currently looking for a well organised person to help with their admin. They are not expecting anything grand as this is voluntary. Would suit anyone willing to give their time to a good cause and perhaps learn some new skills and meet some interesting people.

Voluntary ESOL Tutor
Hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays 9am – 12pm
HEMCC are looking for volunteers to support their qualified teaching staff in delivering lessons to vulnerable ethnic minorities. If you want to meet new people and learn some new skills, they would be more than happy to talk to you.
The role would suit anyone with an open mind and patience, while they welcome those with teaching experience it isn’t essential and they can teach you how!
If you want to go into teaching and need a placement for your PGCE then they are able to help with that too.
