Last week was National Volunteers Week

As last week was National Volunteers weeks the Humberside Police would like to recognise, celebrate and thank their incredible volunteers for all they do to support Humberside Police and our local communities.

In 2023, police volunteers collectively contributed 11,337 hours. So far this year they have contributed over 4,000 hours.

On Monday they began the week of recognition with their annual Volunteer Awards Ceremony, honouring the vast amount of precious time people have contributed, and presenting the Vince Lobley BEM award for contribution to the community.

To each volunteer who has dedicated time, energy, and passion to making a difference… thank you. Your support is gratefully appreciated, and the Humberside Police wouldn’t be able to do what they do without you.
