19th April 2024Volunteer Police Cadets – Recruitment Now Open!
The Humberside Police are now open to applications from young people aged 15 and 16 years of age who would like to join Humberside Police as a Volunteer Police Cadet. The cadets are based in 6 locations around Humberside (Hull, Goole, Beverley, Bridlington, Scunthorpe and Grimsby) and while there is no need for any formal qualifications, we do ask potential cadets to be enthusiastic, dedicated and willing to commit to two hours a week (term time only) to take part in training, learning more about the police and our partner agencies.
By being a Volunteer Police Cadet you, or a young person you know, will have a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, develop positive relationships within their local community and be an ambassador for Humberside Police.
They recognise that young people have an important part to play in their local community and the future of the police service therefore we are committed to engaging with young people to make sure they have the opportunity to engage with Humberside Police.
