Hull Teenager arrested on suspicion of burglary in Cottingham

A 15 year-old teenager from Hull has been arrested in connection with a burglary on Crescent Street in Cottingham.

The homeowner was disturbed just after 6pm on Wednesday 11 December by intruders as they entered his house and stole the keys to his car, a grey Mercedes, which was then stolen.

Officers were quickly deployed to the area and located the vehicle arresting the teenager on suspicion of burglary and vehicle theft.

The investigation into this incident continues and Humberside Police are asking for anyone with information on the burglary or for anyone else who may have been involved or seen any of this activity, to call them on 101 quoting reference 16/127047/19.
