Hull: Man charged after car driven into dock

A vehicle was driven into King George Dock in Hull in the early hours of Sunday morning, 21st August 2022.

The driver of the vehicle was safely recovered from the water and taken to hospital for treatment.

He was later arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft of the vehicle and charged with several offences.

Twenty-three-year-old Corey Hughes of Queens Road, Hull, was charged with burglary, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

He appeared at Hull Magistrates Court this morning, Monday 22nd August.
