25th August 2022Hull: Court appearance after burglary charges
A Hull man has appeared before court charged with burglary and fraud by false representation after he was arrested on Monday 22 August.
Lee Cheney (37), of Padstow House, Hull, was charged in connection with an attempted burglary and a reported distraction burglary on Wednesday 17 August.
It was reported that a man had entered a property on Grimscott Close before being disturbed.
It is further suggested that the man later gained entry to a property on Navenby Grove and stole a jewellery box and bank card, which was later used to withdraw a large sum of cash nearby.
Cheney appeared before Hull Magistrates Court on Tuesday 23 August and has been remanded to appeal before Hull Crown Court at a later date.
