This is one of a unique group of organisations that exist across the country to represent and support GPs.  Their aspiration is to see informed, supported and empowered GPs working in thriving local practices.  This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the LMC through its next stage of growth and development.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader, able to motivate and inspire the team, GP members and the wider general practice community.  You will need vision, ideas, and most importantly, the ability to see things through to fruition.

Experience of working in primary care is desirable but not essential.  You will need to demonstrate strong skills in strategic planning, operational management, financial management, human resource management and communications.  You will also have a strong working knowledge of governance structures.
